Cinco Ranch’s Head Softball, Judy Whillock is stepping down from the coaching position and handing the reigns over to the head assistant, Kerry Simpson.

Coach Whillock led the Cougars to the Region III Finals, where they were defeated by the Katy Tigers in Game 3. Over the years Coach Whillock has produced elite softball players and has made the Cougars’ softball program one of the best in the state of Texas.

Don Clayton, the Cinco Ranch Campus Athletic Coordinator said, “Judy has been an awesome part of our athletic family and we are going to miss her. She came out of “retirement” to take our softball program from average to great and we are most appreciative of her impact on our softball program. Judy did all this with class and by doing it the right way. We will miss Judy but we know she laid the groundwork for future years of success. Best wishes to Judy in the next phase of her career.”

Whillock will now spend more time with her family and her kids as they become more involved in activities.
