ATTENTION SPORTS FANS:  Do you want to see more coverage of your favorite teams, players, and coaches on The Athlete's Connection?  Keep reading to learn how you can help.

• Submit Scores.  See our score ticker at the top?  If your team's game scores aren't there, e-mail them to us, and we'll get them up as soon as possible.  All we need are the teams involved and the scores.  Please verify scores ahead of time.

• Submit Feature Articles.  Do you know of a unique story about your team or one of its players or coaches?  If so, we're interested! You can submit an article giving us all the details, or just send us what we need to know, and we'll write the article for you!  Please include your contact info with your submissions in the event that we need to follow up with you. 

• Submit Game Articles & Photos.  We wish we could make it to all the games, but, since we can't, we LOVE getting game recaps and photos from our readers.  We do have a few guidelines to make sure we're giving Houston-area teams the best possible coverage.
• Articles must include the date and location of the event, names of the head coaches, scores, notable statistics (if possible), and full names of athletes.
• Articles may be edited for brevity, clarity, objectivity, accuracy, and grammar/punctuation.
• Up to five (5) photos will be accepted per article submission.  Photos will be selected based on need and quality.  All photos should be 1 mb or less and should be submitted in .jpg format.  Please attach photos in the same e-mail with your article.
• We require writers/photographers to submit their full name (please, no initials or pseudonyms), telephone number (for follow-up purposes only), and school represented.
• Please e-mail your submissions to articles@athletesconnection.com with the subject line "Articles from Readers."  When possible, please submit your articles by 12:00 PM CT each day.
• We will compensate writers/photographers at a rate of $25.00 per article selected for publication and $2.50 per photo selected for publication.
