Trilogy Lacrosse is hosting its second annual summer camp at Houston Christian High School this Monday through Thursday that caters to boys and girls at the high school and junior high levels. Under the direction of Ryan Boyle, these athletes receive some of the best lacrosse training in the nation. Boyle, as well as several others on his staff play or have played lacrosse at the professional level. Boyle currently plays professionally for the Philadelphia Barrage.
The Trilogy camp consists of individual fundamentals, team concepts, and practice scrimmages to help these young athletes develop the skills needed to not only better themselves at the high school level, but also prepare them for a chance at playing on the collegiate level.
“This is my way of helping shape the next generation to have the proper fundamentals in their play,” said Boyle. “It also allows me to be an ambassador for the sport in virgin areas.”
Although the Trilogy camp does not have scouts in attendance, athletes who perform at a high level will be recommended by camp personnel to collegiate recruiters as players to watch.
“My dream is that some of these players will some day play against me at the professional level,” explained Boyle.
The camp will run 4-8 Monday thru Thursday of this week. The last segment of each day will consist of scrimmages among camp attendees.
