Welcome to this week's edition of ‘Creating Wellness'. As I mentioned in my last segment, success in living a stress-free life-style demands unwavering commitment and perseverance of the goal. The first step is goal setting, which requires making a firm decision to change, while the second step is committing oneself to change. We all know that change is not easy, but it is a necessity for success and to progress to healthy living. Step three is understanding, setting, and keeping your priorities. This is not always as easy as it sounds.

Passing the stress-free lifestyle on to others reinforces your commitment, your new beliefs, and a new attitude. People who are afraid of raising their standards may try to dissuade you- it's a defense mechanism. Don't absorb their negative energy. Instead try and bring them up to your level.
Always remember that wellness is a way of life. It's not a pill and it doesn't require a prescription. You won't always be perfect, but if you really try, you'll succeed more than you will fail, and that makes the difference between those who life and those who merely get by.
Our actions are the working result of our desires, priorities, beliefs, and emotions; therefore, these affect the quality of our quest for the stress-free lifestyle in either a positive or negative way.
There is no neutral!
Overcoming these common stumbling blocks starts by taking and implementing one step at a time. Before long, as you apply these fundamental principles, you'll find yourself well on your way to achieving the lifestyle you desire
