The Mayde Creek Rams celebrated their 2007 Homecoming Friday night at Rhodes Stadium. The students and the other Rams enthusiast were treated to a nail biting Homecoming game against the Mustangs from Lamar Consolidated.
The Rams 30-26, fourth quarter victory gave everyone in attendance a reason to celebrate including the newly crowned king and queen.
With an outstanding Homecoming court including future Aggies, Longhorns, Bears, and others, the students at Mayde Creek had made a tough choice for the night's crowning. The Rams’ votes were counted and Grace Messenger and linebacker, Chase Hooper were crowned Homecoming queen and king.
Hooper said, “This is a great honor being homecoming king.”
The fans were also treated to the Ram’s band and the drill team who performed a crowd pleasing medley during halftime and at the end of the game.
