Katy High School celebrated its homecoming Friday night with mums, helicopters, and a victory as the Tigers took home their third district win.

The nationally recognized Katy Bingle Brigade dance team took the field. The Soulja Girls were dressed patriotically as they rode out on helicopters and performed a prop routine as the band played A Patriotic Opener.

As Homecoming 2007 got underway, the announcer said, “Crowning of the queen is the highlight of the homecoming show.”

The court was introduced and the crowd was given a brief biography of each woman as she walked the 50-yard line on the arm of a special man in her life.

The women stood before Tiger fans as Jennifer Boyd was announced Homecoming Queen 2007. She hugged her father and accepted her crown.

Congratulations were in order for Jennifer Boyd and the Tiger football team as both went home winners.
