The Cinco Ranch Cougars hosted the Mayde Creek Rams Thursday night for the second meet of the season. The Cougars are coming off a team win against Clements and the Rams were looking for their first win after being defeated by Memorial.

The 24-event meet saw tough competition in the pool with several athletes achieving their personal best. Both teams were looking to improve in this meet and gain some stride going into the season. Cinco Ranch used their depth in the pool to earn their second win of the season.

“They did really well, I am very pleased,” Cougars head coach Christie Patterson said. “Early on we get to figure out what they need to work on, but this was a good meet and they did very well.”
