The boys and girls of Spring Branch ISD joined Saturday morning at the 19-5A district championship meet in to name boys and girls champions.

The swimmers who placed in the top six will go on to swim in the regional preliminaries Friday at the Don Cook Natatorium. The regional finals are next Saturday.

The 19-5A Girls Swimmer of the Year was Memorial's Catherine Wagner, who helped her team amass 225 total points and the Girls district champion title. Boys Swimmer of the year was Stratford’s Hunter Bayley, an Olympian trial swimmer who led his team to the district title with 202 total points.
