Joining the lead of several other area schools, including their opening opponent, Strake Jesuit hosted Westside Friday night for the school's first rugby game.

Strake Jesuit came hard in its attempt to beat the Wolverines but was no match for Westside’s strength. With previous experience on its side, Westside won 18-0.

Westside triumphed over the Crusaders with three tries and an extra point.

Strake Jesuit joins Westside and St. Thomas, among others, as area schools with rugby teams.
