MacArthur's two second-half goals carried the Generals to a 3-1 lead against Memorial Tuesday night in a District 19-5A boys soccer game at Tully Stadium.

Most of the first half was played on Memorial's end of the field because MacArthur came out aggressive. The Generals' No. 23 scored the first goal.

MacArthur declined to provide a roster to the Athlete's Connection.

During the first half Memorial came very close to scoring with several breakaways, but was called for several offside penalties. But sophomore Keith Tura broke through late in the half to tie the game.

Andy Cohrse assisted.

The second half started out intense with several penalties and breakaways. Memorial’s offense played tough, keeping the ball opposite of their goal most of the remaining game time. Memorial also had several shots on goal, all of which were blocked by MacArthur. In response to Memorial’s offense, MacArthur also brought out their best defense.

MacArthur's No. 18 scored the second and third goals.
