It never fails.
Whenever I wear my blue Cutter and Buck windbreaker, people inevitably compliment me on how sharp it is. I get the feeling they think I make six figures, which I don’t.
I can see why, though. Cutter and Buck makes attractive yet inexpensive clothing that makes anyone – including yours truly – look like I belong at a country club.
All I tell them is the windbreaker was affordable, which isn’t just showmanship. It was affordable.
Look for yourself. Check out the wide selection of shirts, blazers and windbreakers today on Cutter and Buck’s Web site.
Their latest special, just in time for March Madness starting next week, is the “Best of College Apparel.” Boasted on the front of the site is an LSU polo celebrating the Tigers’ national championship in football. Shirts start at $50.
Being a lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes fan, the ad pained me.
But hey, people in Louisiana deserve to look good as much as people in Ohio and Texas.
Sharp wear isn’t limited to the nation’s top two football teams (sorry Longhorns fans, your team isn’t one of them). Logos are embroidered into the shirts; orders take an extra five to seven days to make sure they get it right.
Any school you can think of is on the list, including our local favorites – UT, Texas A&M, Houston and Rice among others. I even found shirts for the University of Dayton, which several members of my family attended.
And there aren’t just college shirts. Get polos, t-shirts and knits and more, plus accessories, including jewelry.
