Taylor Wall shined in another strong postseason start to power Westside to a 3-2 victory against Bellaire in Game 1 of their regional final series Friday night at Ray Knoblauch Field.

Wall, who threw a no-hitter in his last postseason start against Baytown Sterling, struck out 10 Friday. He has 54 strikeouts in five postseason outings.

Michael Falcone's bases-loaded RBI single in the first scored Michael Goodnight for a 1-0 lead, then an RBI double by Daniel Mengden scored Austin Jackson to make it 2-0 in the third.

Westside made it 3-0 in the fifth on an RBI sacrifice bunt by Matt Clayton that scored Kevin Rodriguez.

Bellaire got within 3-2 in the sixth on Kyle Chaskin's two-out RBI double.

Game 2 is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ray Knoblauch Field. Game 3, if necessary, will be 45 minutes after Game 2.
