The Eisenhower volleyball team dominated visiting Dekaney Tuesday night, sweeping to a 25-7, 26-15, 25-15 win in a non-district game.

In all three sets, Eisenhower dominated DeKaney from start to finish with a total team effort.

Eagles coach Jocelyn Adams was especially thrilled about her team's strong concentration.

"Our team played very well today," she said. "We've been working on transition and running our offense and defense and we did that effectively today. We had a good service reception that disrupted their offense and I think that was the key for us."

Senior Karissa Moore's nine kills paced the night as DeKaney had no answer for what she was bringing.

"Karissa Moore is our senior and we are looking for big things from her," Adams said. "She's been working hard all summer and working on her hits, so we knew she would be ready tonight."

Moore wasn't the only star. Chanelle Bibbs added seven kills for Eisenhower.

"I just come out to play," she said. "All we need to do is play like we've been and that will lead to a district (18-5A) championship."

Eisenhower returns to action Friday at Caney Creek.
