The Stratford  Lady Spartans came out on fire as they jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter. The Spartans played intense defense and sound offense to dominate on both ends of the court.

The lady Raiders played hard defense but struggled to make anything fall on offense. The Northbrook coach encouraged his team to keep playing hard defense and to push the ball down the court. 

The Lady Spartans continued to dominate the game in the second half earning a decisive 48-15 victory over the Raiders.

Leading the way for the Spartans was guard Libby Burgher who dropped in nine points.

District play continues with Stratford matching up against Nimitz away  while Northbrook plays at home against Spring woods Friday Jan 12. Tip off at 7:30pm for both games.
