Falcons Dominate Saturday

The Kinkaid Falcons came out with back-to-back victories for both the girls and the boy's as they played at their own domain Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons began the game strong and did not lose their intensity at any point during the game. Kinkaid point guard Claire Gerrall led her team with good insight and smart decisions which helped the girls to remain focused.

By the second half, Hockaday found a weakness in the Falcons' offense and began to draw fouls to send their team to the line. However, the Falcons prevailed and did not let a few fouls ruin their game.

The final score was 52-39.
Leading scorers for Kinkiad were Lady Couisnard with 25 and Claire Gerall with 11.
Leading scorers for Hockaday were Raven Tatum with 17 and Adrian McCray.
 
The boys game remained exciting and left the crowd biting their nails by the final seconds. The game started off in St. Mark's favor as they led by two in the first quarter. By the half the game was tied.

The rest of the game was neck and neck until a time out was call with 38 seconds remaining and Kinkaid led with a 48 to 45. The Falcons came out and scored off the initial play which gave them a safe lead.

The final score was 50-47.
Leading scorers for the game were Alex Minett with 14 and Ryan Gill with 9.  St. Mark's Emanuel Acho made 14 and Chris McClain put up 11.
