Track season was set in motion Thursday at Memorial High School where three schools including Memorial, Katy, and Hastings competed in a practice meet.
The girls have been practicing most of January and this meet was the time to find your event and work out all the kinks. Although this was just a practice meet the schools still competed to win each event. Each school excelled in an event and the top runners began to surface showing that when the season officially starts next week their opponent’s better be ready to run.
