Friday at Spring Woods High School the Spring Woods lady Tigers played a District game against the Aldine Mustangs.

The Tigers took the early lead in the first quarter dominating the court letting the Mustangs know that they were in their house. Even though the Mustangs were down they fought hard to stay in the game connecting more of their shots and going into half time with a score of 32-20 Tigers.

Starting the third quarter the teams began full court press allowing more steals and turnovers to occur. This proved to help the Mustangs but they could not gain the lead to pass the Tigers. Spring Woods' Arielle Daron stepped up to hold onto the lead, hitting the boards and knocking down the big shots assisting in the win with the final score being 64-32.
