The SPC tournament is underway and game two brought Episcopal Eagles of Dallas and Episcopal Knights of Houston to battle it out on the courts.

The first quarter started out very fast paced with both teams crashing the boards. There were few second chance points as both teams did a good job of blocking out and grabbing defensive rebounds. The Knights earned a 14-12 lead by the end of the first quarter.
The teams kept the game close throughout the second quarter with the Eagles taking a 27-25 lead heading into halftime.

The Eagles came out ready to play in the second half turning the momentum in their favor. They tried pulling away but the Knights kept it close. However, the Eagles were able to add to their lead by the end of the third period. 51-45.

The game remained close throughout the final quarter, but the Eagles were able to pull out a 73-65 victory.

Eagle Jeff Georgatos was the games high point scorer dropping in 18 as teammate Trenton Wesson added 15. Leading the way for the Knights was Charlie Herd and Jonathan Kganekwu who both had 13 points.

Ehm actually the title is wrong. The Eagles beat Huston and went on to play in the SPC D1 Finals where they lost to St. Mark's.
