Memorial and Clear Lake boys lacrosse teams reunited this year for their first district game. Last year the Falcons gave the Mustangs a beating, winning 17-1. Memorial was not about to go for another upset like that.

Starting the game strong, fellow 'stang Stephen Wise scored the opening goal for the game. Clear Lake answered back leaving the game tied 1-1 after the first quarter. Making 4 goals before the half, Clear Lake was on fire, leaving the mustangs behind. The halftime score was 5-2, Falcons.

The Mustangs played a hard second half. Mason Hebert made the 3rd goal for the Mustangs keeping their spirits up.  The Falcons held onto their lead, despite Memorials efforts. The score was 6-3 going into the 4th quarter. The Mustangs finished the game with one more goal. Goalies Chris Mack for Memorial, and Joey Lattimer for Clear Lake did equally well both making 17 saves for the game. Memorial captain Mason Hebert agrees that losing this game wasn't a huge upset because they improved a lot from the game last year. Scorers for the game include Chris Mueller, Nate Poon, Paul Kreiter, Wilgene David, Ryan Cooper and Steve Lerbino for the Falcons. Steve Wise, Kevin Neal, and Mason Hebert for the Mustangs. The final score was 7-4 Falcons.
