Memorial and Klein met for one of the first games of the season on this beautiful sun shining day. The girls started the game with great intensity. Memorial captains Emily McKenzie and Katie Harrington displayed great leadership as they guided their team to victory. In the first half alone the mustangs raked up 9 points leaving Klein with a lonely 1.

 The 2nd half continued at the same pace, with the Mustangs taking the upper hand. Klein displayed great hustle, but it wasn't enough to penetrate Memorial's outs  defense. The final score was 15-2. Top scorers for Memorial include Stephanie Rolats with 4, Emily McKenzie with 3, and Kathryn Blum with 3. Anne Bailey and Clepper had 1 each for Klein.
