Kinkaid’s Jenny Sangalis scored four goals against the Westchester Academy Tuesday night en route to a 14-6 Falcon victory over the Lady Cats. The Falcons led throughout the entire match, but had only a two-goal advantage going into halftime.

After the ten-minute halftime break, Kinkaid came out fired up and hitting on all cylinders. The Falcons worked the ball around offensively and scored a goal early in the second half. Westchester responded and scored a goal soon after.

With Kinkaid controlling majority of the draws, the Falcons scored several go-ahead points. The Cats tried to work their offense, but the Falcons defense held them to only two-second half goals.

Aside from Sangalis’ four-goal performance, Julie Mackay scored three goals. Sarah Atntipp and Sallie Houstoun each had two goals . Kenner Smith, Claire Bailey, and Sara Jane Munford each contributed with a goal.

Falcon goalkeeper Skyler Dabbar recorded four saves.

For Westchester, Ivett Malanado led all Cats scorers with three goals. Jennifer Young, Tatiana Shtapura, and Hanna Hall all had one goal apiece.

Kinkaid will play host to Klein at 5:15 p.m. while Westchester travels to St. Johns for a 5:30 game. Both games are set for Thursday, Feb. 22.
