Cy-Fair may not have brought home a championship trophy, but the Lady Bobcats did not walk away from Austin empty-handed, as junior forward Nneka Ogwumike and her sister Chiney Ogwumike, a freshman, were named to the Class 5A all-tournament team.

Over the course of Cy-Fair’s two games at the state tournament, Nneka averaged 22 points per game on 50% shooting, to go along with 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 5 steals.  Chiney averaged 15 points per game and shot 48% from the field, with 2 blocks and 3 steals.

Other members of the Class 5A all-tournament team were Genevieve Campbell, Haley Day, and Kiara Slaton, all from state-champion Rockwall.  Day was also named MVP of the championship game.
