The Spring Woods Tigers and the Willis Wildkats took to the diamond in the Saturday afternoon heat for a short six-inning exhibition match.
The Tigers took an early 4-1, first inning lead with several big hits. The second inning was a pitchers dual as both defenses shut down their opponents.

The next three innings would belong to the Kats outscoring the Tigers 6-1. Down 7-5 heading into the sixth and final inning, the Tigers were down to their last three outs. Willis made some good plays in the field to keep the Tigers from rounding third, securing the victory for Willis pitcher Steven Molk. Chris Walters was hit with a blown save for the Tigers

Spring Woods will start district play against MacArthur on Tuesday and Willis will continue district play against Caney Creek on Tuesday as well.
