The Athlete’s Connection is proud to present Kinkaid’s Alex Gibbs with our Spotlight Athlete of the week award. Gibbs brought home five medals this weekend.
Saturday at the John Cooper Invitational Track Meet in the Woodlands, Gibbs was Kinkaid’s high point winner. Gibbs, a junior, Gibbs placed first in the 100-meter hurdles, the 300-meter hurdles, and 1600 sprint medley relay.
She was also on the 400-meter relay that placed second and earned a bronze medal in the long jump.
