Second Baptist’s Ross Seaton has earned the Athlete’s Connection spotlights of the week nomination. Seaton pitched a complete game against the Fort Bend Baptist Eagles Thursday night and gave up only one run.

Seaton, a former Fort Bend Baptist pitcher, had the opportunity to pitch against his old teammates and friends Thursday night. There were no mixed emotions as Seaton handled his task at hand and did so not only on the mound, but at the plate as well.

Seaton tied the game at one for the Eagles with a solo home run shot in the fourth inning. The Eagles went on to win the game in the final inning as Cooper Smith hit a walk-off double to clinch the 2-1 victory for Second Baptist.
