Pearland, Kingwood victorious at Oiler Relays

Sunny skies and a cool breeze was the setting in Pearland for the Oilers Relays Friday. Thirty teams (16 girls, 14 boys) gathered at ‘The Rig’ on a mission for taking home a gold medal.

In the girls division, Pearland took first place overall with 95 points. Baytown Sterling was the runner up with 84 points and Beaumont Ozen ended with 73 points.

For the boys, Kingwood was victorious with a score of 111 points. Aldine Nimitz had a great showing for a second place finish with 86.5 points and host Pearland picked up third with 72.5 points.
