The co-ed Klein Relays took place Friday and Saturday at Klein High School. More than 20 high schools from all over Houston including, Memorial, Cy-Fair, The Woodlands, Kingwood, Fort Bend Bush, College Park, Hightower, Strake Jesuit, Stratford, and others competed starting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and all day Saturday.

For the boys 4x800 m relay, A&M Consolidated took first with an outstanding time of 7:56.24. The relay team included Jorell Laube, Duncan Phillips, Nick Olivieri, and Louis Ocampo. Strake Jesuit came in second with a time of 8:00.74 and The Woodlands came in third place.

A&M Consolidated girls 4x800 m Relay also came in first with a time of 9:37.12. The team was comprised of Keri Wood, Katy Williams, Jenn Barrick, and Morgan Hartman. Kingwood ran into second place with a time of 9:38.78 followed by Klein Collins finishing in third with a  9:43.38.

The boys Pole Vault competition was hard fought with the boys soaring 15 feet in the air. Austin Smith from The Woodlands took first with a jump of 15-00.00 followed by Josh Hyde from College Park, and in third place was Kyle Kaase from Klein Collins.
