Coach Mills has been involved with rugby for 23 years. After an eleven-year playing career, he began coaching in Texas. He has coached every level of rugby, from kids developmental to collegiate. Among his coaching positions, he served as the Head Coach for the University of St. Thomas Rugby Football Club.

He is currently the Manager/Pack Coach for the United States U18 National Rugby Team, a Manager/Coach for both the Texas Collegiate Select Side and the U19 Texas Select Side, Director of Rugby for the Houston Rugby Academy, and Pack Coach for St. Thomas High School.
