The Mustangs stepped up their game in the second quarter playing well both offensively and defensively.  Jared Carameros played strong defense, picking off many Klein Oak passes and moved the ball down field to help the Mustangs score.

The offense was on a roll scoring 5 more goals before half time.  Memorial players Stephen Risley with 3, Louis Tronzo with 1, and Mason Hebert scoring 1 more to bring his 1st half total to 3 points.

The Klein Oaks players tried unsuccessfully to score but the Mustang goalie, Chris Mack, made a total of 7 saves throughout the game to slow down their opponents scoring.
