Stratford hosted Westside on Westchester’s Lacrosse field.  Stratford started strong with a motivated team as the Spartans rammed through Westside’s defense.

Scoring the first goal of the game, Stratford’s Nghia Tran started off positively for his team and would put in a total of three before the end of the game. As high scorer, Tran was a contender for the Spartans.

Coming close behind his fellow team mate, Walker Colt scored a total of 2 goals.

With Will Swerdlow putting a total of 2 in the net for the Wolves,

Westside had trouble on offense in the first half.  Bunching together made it difficult for players to execute effective passing and put up points.  At half time the score was close: 3- 2 Stratford.

Stratford came out strong, scoring a goal within the first few seconds of the second half.  Westside, though, put up a brutal fight against the mighty Spartans. Tiring towards the end of the game, the Wolves struggled to protect their goalie and keep possesion of the ball.

Stratford, also, had trouble handling the ball, but, overall, both teams did very well and worked well together.

Though the competition was ferocious, Stratford came out victorious with

a final score of 8 to 5.
