Memorial girls, Eisenhower boys own 19-5A track meet

District 19-5A completed its track meet Friday at Spring Branch Memorial’s night with a bang. The rain may have slowed the times down a little, but that was not enough to keep the boys and girls of Spring Branch and Aldine ISD from gailiantly racing to the finish line.

Taking home the hardware was the common denominator and was the goal of many of Friday’s runners. In the girls division, Memorial was the district champion with 200 total points. Eisenhower was the runner-up with 145 points.

The Eisenhower boys were the overall meet winners with 169 points. Closely behind the Eagles was runner-up Nimitz with 154 points.

High point winner for the girls was MacArthur’s Ashley Miller who had 46 points. Eisenhower’s Craig Loston earned a total of 34 points to earn the high-point champion of the boys. Team and individual results are listed below.
