CUMC and Total Wrestling hosted the first annual ‘The Uncivil War’ dual at Westbriar Middle School on Saturday afternoon. The dual featured seniors from the North (Dallas and Panhandle) and South (Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso) regions.

In the end, the North defeated the South 39-28. This match up showcased many of the boys who were state finalist and champions. Majority of the wrestlers who placed high (first, second, or third) competed at a higher weight class.

Both teams were well equipped with experienced coaches. Arlington Martin’s Patrick Dunn coached the North and Cy-Fair’s John Banas led the South.
