The sun blazed over Humble’s Turner Stadium Saturday afternoon for the Region III track and field finals. The Top 8 runners in each event lined up with the possibility of state competition.
The regional champions were Cy-Springs (girls) and Fort bend Hightower (boys). Both teams fared well in the relays and won quite a few individual events as well.
The Lady Panthers dominated in the 4x100 and the 4x200-meter relays. Hightower did the same.
